Once I started, I could NOT put this down. I love the tension and angst of it all. There is this starkness and tone that reminds me of something I read in high school. Willa Cather, maybe? I can't put my finger on it. Beautiful job of setting the scene. The GK personalities and relationships lends itself well to the story and you blended them seamlessly. This works for me on so many levels. You rock.
