That was a sublime piece of writing. Possibly the most enjoyable, well-written thing I have read in ages. I was screaming so loud in my head at Brad by the end - and Nate, never losing faith that he was in the right place. Man, that was a heart-wrenching read. Your characters were so themselves, yet fit so perfectly into their new milieu, you forget you're reading AU.

I'm gonna stop there for now, my head is still buzzing and my praise is becoming incoherent.


There was one typo - Nate comes across Brad and Nate Ray helping each other shave their hair off; he asks them to do the same for him so his head won't get so uncomfortably hot when he wears his hat.
